Cookie policy

Every cookie and browser storage item Helio Posts uses, and why. Last updated 30 October 2026.

The short version

We use one cookie, and only once you sign in. It keeps you signed in. We remember your light or dark theme in your browser if you pick one. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, on the app or on our website. Because everything we use is strictly necessary or something you asked for, we do not show a cookie banner.

Paying through Paddle

Paddle, our online reseller, runs checkout. When you open checkout, Paddle sets its own cookies to take the payment securely and prevent fraud. They are strictly necessary for paying, and they are not set until you open checkout. Paddle's own cookie policy at paddle.com lists them.

LinkedIn

Connecting a company page takes you to LinkedIn to sign in. Anything LinkedIn sets there is under LinkedIn's own cookie policy. Helio Posts pages do not load anything from LinkedIn.

The free post checker

The checker sets no cookie. To keep the free limits fair, it counts requests by a salted one-way hash of your IP address, held on our server. Our privacy policy explains it.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to sign in. Clearing your browser's site data removes the theme choice.
